History of the Internet
Using the PowerPoint below to help, you will make timeline of the events that helped shaped the internet. You can use Illustrator, Photoshop, PowerPoint, Canva, or free online timeline builder, Time Graphics. Link is below. You will pick out the TOP 10 dates/events that you think shaped the internnet. You must include the date, what happened, an image and WHY you chose that event. Make sure your entries are concise and clear to someone unfamiliar with the topic. You MUST include an image for each entry (not the one's in Scales' notes!!!)
When you have finished, please save your timeline as last name + first name + period + timeline as a PDF file and turn it in here!

Rating Websites
You will be going online and picking 4 websites, 2 sites for schools/colleges and 2 commercial sites. Look for good and bad examples of each type.
Next download the worksheet below, Rating Websites. Using this worksheet you will rate each site, explain what first captured your eye, what looked good, and what didn't look good. When you have finished, make sure to save your file as last name + first name + period + websites. You will turn this in here when you are finished. Then you will get with a partner to explain your website choices to your partner and why! |

Best way to learn how to use Adobe Dreamweaver, is to build a website! You will be using the tutorial below to help guide you into creating a website for your brand that you have been creating all semester. Before you can start in Dreamweaver you need to begin with planning. Download the worksheet below and work first to plan what you will be creating. The example website shows a film industry website, but yours will be reflective of your website and the guidelines that you decided on.
You will be turning in the planning worksheet for a grade! This will be due first, and then you and Scales will conference and review your decisions about your site. |
